Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Gujarat Giants in the 16th match of the Women’s Premier League 2023 on Saturday (March 18) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Bangalore won their first game of the season in their last match after losing five games on the trot. They defeated the UP Warriorz by five wickets in their previous outing after chasing the target of 136 runs in 18 overs. Kanika Ahuja, the 20-year-old all-rounder, scored 46 runs off 30 deliveries and won the Player of the Match award.
The Giants have won two out of six games and are coming into this game after winning their previous match against the Delhi Capitals. Gujarat scored 147 runs for the loss of four wickets in 20 overs with the help of half-centuries from Laura Wolvaardt and Ashleigh Gardner. With the ball, all the bowlers except Mansi Joshi picked at least one wicket for the Giants.
