Preview
The South African side is all set to turn their fortunes against Pakistan in the first ODI of the three-match series slated to take place on December 17 at Boland Park, Paarl. This series comes after the Proteas resounding 2-0 victory in the T20I series, which ended on a disappointing note as the final match in Johannesburg was abandoned due to heavy rainfall.
Mohammad Rizwan and his men will be eager to recover from their T20I setback and make a strong start in the ODIs to gain momentum ahead of the two-match Test series commencing on Boxing Day. On the other hand, Temba Bavuma and his men will look to use their home advantage and ride on high confidence after the T20I series win.
With the action shifting to the ODIs after the T20I series, the two teams will look to fine-tune their teams and strategies as they prepare for future tournaments.
