The first ODI of the three-match series between South Africa Women and Bangladesh Women will take place at the Buffalo Park in East London on Saturday (December 16). The three-match T20I series between the two teams ended with both teams winning one game each, while one of the matches ended in no result. The series is a part of the Women's Championship 2022-25, the qualifier tournament for the upcoming ODI World Cup in India in 2025.

South Africa have made a couple of changes to the squad. Ayabonga Khaka and Nadine de Klerk are back in the squad after recovering from their respective injuries. The duo missed the T20I series due to the injury. Marizanne Kapp has also made it to the squad. She was rested for the T20I series after participating in the Women’s Big Bash League. Eliz-mari Marx and Meike De Ridder are the two uncapped players in the squad. Marx made her T20I debut against Bangladesh this month.
