South African women are all set to lock horns against the England women in the third and final ODI match of the series, slated to take place on December 11 at Senwes Park in Potchefstroom. The hosts won the series-opening game by six wickets, but England bounced back in the second game by six wickets to level up the series. The Proteas Women aim to win this game to seal the series after losing the T20I series. On the other hand, Heather Knight and the women hope to win this forthcoming encounter to clinch the ODI series after winning the T20I series during the last month.

In the second ODI game, the Proteas women posted 135 runs before being bundled out in the game. The side lost Tazmin Brits and Sune Luus early in the game. After their dismissals, skipper Laura Wolvaardt and star batter Annerie Dercksen chipped in 35 and 29 runs, respectively, before Chloe Tryon made 45 to help the side post 135 runs.

In reply to that, Tammy Beaumont and Maia Bouchier gave a great start to the side, stitching 69 runs of stand for the opening stand. Dyani Wyatt scored the winning runs and guided England to win the game by six wickets to level up the series.
