Preview

SBS CC will lock horns with GAT in the 2nd match of the KCC T20 Challengers Cup at the Sulaibiya Cricket Ground in Kuwait on November 2. Both these teams would be playing their first match this season and would be wanting to make a fresh start to the tournament.

SBS CC had squared off against Noor CM Academy in their last encounter, where SBS CC won the toss and elected to bowl. Being put to bat, Academy started really well, with their openers looking great. After the loss of the first wicket, they had a brilliant second-wicket partnership as well, which helped them reach a huge total of 116 runs. SBS lost two wickets in the first over itself to make things worse. They did try to chase the total down, but it was never an achievable total from there. They lost the game by 33 runs.

GAT had last played against Seazen Challengers in their last game, where Seazen Challengers won the toss and elected to bat. They did not start too well but were able to make up for it a bit as they improved as the game progressed. The middle order made significant contributions to the team, which led them to a good total of 97 runs on the board. GAT did not start the chase as they would have expected, being reduced to three for 13 in three overs. They kept losing wickets one after the other and so lost the match by 22 runs.
