Store Bay Snorkelers will lock horns with Pigeon Point Skiers in the 15th match of the Tribango T10 Blast 2023 at Shaw Park in Scarborough on November 24. Store Bay Snorkelers have won one of their three matches and are placed fifth in the rankings, while Pigeon Point Skiers are yet to win any of the matches they have played so far, languishing at the bottom of the table.
Store Bay Snorkelers squared off against King Bay Royals in their last encounter, where King Bay Royals had won the toss and elected to bat. The match was reduced to eight overs a side due to rain. In an attempt to start aggressively, the Royals lost an early wicket, but they did not slow things down. They kept on losing wickets regularly but still posted a good total of 88 runs on the board. Snorkelers started off really well and only lost one wicket, looking ideal to chase the total down, but fascinating bowling towards the end pulled things back for the Royals as they won the close game by five runs.
Pigeon Point Skiers played against the Pirates Bay Raiders in their last game, where Pigeon Point Skiers won the toss and elected to bowl. The Raiders started decently and scored at a good pace, with their top order doing well. It wasn’t until the pair of Shammon Hooper and Marlon Richards went berserk and shot up the scoring rate. Due to them, they posted a huge total of 121 runs on the board. Skiers started well but lacked the required pace. Their middle order did score briskly it was not enough, as they lost the game by 26 runs.
