Such a total was never a challenge for Scotland, and they started brilliantly, pushing away any other chances. They won the match emphatically by nine wickets with more than half an inning remaining.

Netherlands Women had squared off against France Women in their last match, where Netherlands won the toss and elected to field. France had a forgettable on the field with the bat as they could neither score runs nor keep their wickets. Only Marie Violleu could play a decent knock of 38 runs, and it helped France reach a total of 83 runs. The Netherlands were fantastic with the bat right from the start, and they were in a hurry as they chased down the total in just eight overs and won the match by eight wickets.
