Somerset will be fighting with Worcestershire in the 15th match of the group B of English One Day Cup, 2023 on August 06, at the Cooper County Ground in Taunton. Somerset have played just one match till now, and have lost that, and are currently on the sixth position on the points table. Meanwhile Worcestershire are the table toppers currently with having won all the two matches they’ve played. Worcestershire look in great form to carry on the tournament.

Somerset last fought with Warwickshire, where Somerset lost the match by four wickets. Warwickshire won the toss and elected to bowl. After a disastrous start, Lewis Goldsworthy helped the team stand on its toes by scoring 78 runs. Another good run scorer was George Bartlett who scored 74. With the fall of wickets and slow run rate, the team got all out at 230 in 46.5 overs. When Warwickshire came to bat, Ed Barnard scored a phenomenal 94 runs. Will Rhodes and Hamza Sheikh also contributed to the team’s total by scoring 38 runs each. And with the loss of six wickets, Warwickshire chased their target and scored 233 runs.

Worcestershire last locked their horns with Glamorgan, where Worcestershire won the match by four wickets. Worcestershire won the toss and elected to bowl. Glamorgan opened on a below average note. The batters tried to score some runs, but mostly failed to hit big. Benjamin Kellaway scored the highest (82) runs, followed by Kiran Carlson (26) and Eddie Byrom (25). The team got all out on 199 in 40.2 overs. BD’Oliveira got a three-wicket haul, followed by Josh Baker and Dillion Pennigton who picked two wickets each, and Ben Gibbon got one wicket.
