Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the seventh match of the Indian Premier League 2025. This match will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. 74 matches will be played across 13 cities over the next two months as the IPL fever kicks off. Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be played in Hyderabad on May 20 and 21, respectively. Qualifier 2, on May 23, and the final, on May 25, will be in Kolkata.

Sunrisers Hyderabad were the record breakers in the previous edition as they went past the 270-run mark quite a few times. They lost in the Final to Kolkata Knight Riders and ended up as the runners-up. They have further strengthened their batting with the addition of Ishan Kishan. Pat Cummins will lead the side, and they once again have a destructive batting order. They scored 286 in the opeening match against RR and started the season with a win. 

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants will be led by Rishabh Pant. They had seven wins and seven losses in the previous edition and finished seventh in the table. They have an explosive battng lineup and will be loooking to put up a good performance. They lost the previous match against Delhi Capitals by on wicket.
