Dominant England sealed a resounding 3-0 lead in the five matches of the T20I series against host West Indies and now aim to mark a clean sweep as they set to turn their fortunes around against the home team for the fourth T20I game slated to take place on November 16 at Daren Sammy International Cricket Stadium, St Lucia in Gros Islet. Windies, who have already lost their series, aim to win the next two matches to avoid a whitewash against Jos Buttler and his men.
The third T20I game saw star pacer Saqib Mahmood leading the charge, crushing the top orders of the West Indies and guiding his side to a three-wicket win. After being sent to bat first, the home team was able to rack up 146/8, a total that the visitors chased down with seven wickets down and four balls to spare.
Meanwhile, England dominated the series opener with an eight-wicket win. Opening batter Phil Salt led the charge with his magnificent century, while Mahmood took four wickets as the side successfully chased down 183 runs to take a 1-0 lead. In the next game, skipper Jos Buttler hammered crucial 85 runs, coupled with stellar bowling performances, to guide his side to win by seven wickets while chasing 159 runs.
