Preview
India will be up against West Indies in the 4th T20I match of the India Tour of West Indies at the Central Broward Stadium in Florida on August 12. They have already played three matches in the series, with West Indies having won the first two games while Indian Team won in the last game. India would be looking forward to continuing with their winning momentum.
Both the teams squared off against each other in the third T20I match of the series, played at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, where West Indies won the toss and elected to bat. West Indies made a solid start having scored 55 runs off eight overs, and looked to have another great day with the bat on the field. When the chance for the middle order came, they did well on their own as well and scored some valuable runs. Although towards the end, they could not do well and got very slow, and as a result, they were able to post 159 runs on board.
India, in reply, did not start well as their debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal lost his wicket on his second ball. Shubhman Gill also could not do much damage as he departed on a score of six runs. That is when the pair of Tilak Verma and Suryakumar Yadav joined hands to stitch together a match-winning partnership for India. Both the batters looked in great touch and were timing the ball well. By the time Suryakumar departed, what was left in the match was just a formality, so India won the game by seven wickets. Suryakumar was adjudged Player of the Match for his brilliant innings.
