Preview
West Indies began their preparations for the T20 World Cup in the right earnest with a win over South Africa in Jamaica. The 28-run win for the hosts was a fair reminder of the talent they have despite not playing some of their regular players. South Africa, too, will be treating the next two games with a lot of seriousness as they want to put their preparations for the upcoming event.
West Indies (WI), led by Brandon King, had a fairly good game with bat and ball. One of the concerns for the home team will be the collapse of their middle and lower orders in the first game. The West Indians saw their bowlers perform well to eke out an easy win in the end by 28 runs.
South Africa (SA) would be worried about their batting form, as only three batters reached double figures. While the bowlers did reasonably well, the batting unit crumbled under pressure to lose the first game of the series.
