Windhoek Jets will lock horns with Etosha Wildcats in the 8th match of the Richelieu T20 at the United Cricket Club Ground in Windhoek on September 21. Windhoek Jets had played off against Fish River Eagles, where Fish River Eagles won the toss and elected to bowl. The Jets had started well, scoring at a fantastic pace, and they did a great job maintaining it as well throughout their innings. Niko Davin and Zane Green scored brilliant fifties as well to help put a strong total of 181 runs on the board. Eagles had started decently but then lost a bunch of wickets within a short span of time, which pushed them back in the game, and they could never really recover from it, hence losing the match by 23 runs.
Etosha Wildcats had last squared off against Namib Desert Lions, where Etosha Wildcats won the toss, and they elected to bowl. Being put to bat, the Lions seemed decent with the bat, but as soon as they lost their first wicket, it kind of opened floodgates for them. Runs dried up completely, and Gerhard Erasmus was the only player to have a decent score in the game while they scored 117 runs. The Wildcats had no issues chasing the total as they won the match comfortably by 10 wickets with more than seven overs to spare.
