Preview
Team India is all set to face Zimbabwe for the second T20I game of the five matches of the series on July 7 in Harare. The Men in Blue are T20 World Cup winners, and the number-one ranked ICC team in the format. Notably, a plethora of senior players have been rested in the series, which has allowed the youngsters to make a mark at the grandest stage.
Intrestingly, who from the cricketing fraternity would have thought that the first match would be a low-scoring thriller? But it ended like this, and the hosts went on to pull off one of their best wins, just by 13 runs. Following the win, the home team took a 1-0 lead in the five-match T20I series.
Meanwhile, the second game is also set to take place at the same venue and will be played on Sunday. The Zimbabwe squad will be feeling confident, and they will be looking to continue their dominating momentum in the series. On the other hand, the Shubman Gill-led young side will look to show better batting performance to level up the series, as the first match was an eye-opener for them.
