Preview
After scripting a remarkable turnaround with a 100-run win in the second T20I, Shubman Gill and Co. will aim to take the lead in the series as they set to face hosts Zimbabwe (ZIM) for the third T20I, which is slated to take place on July 10 at Harare Sports Club.
The Men in Blue suffered a shocking 13-run defeat in the opening encounter; however, the Indian (IND) team made a resounding comeback, with star-opeing batter Abhishek Sharma's 46-ball century grabbing the headlines. Team India racked up mammoth 234 runs before bundling out Sikandar Raza and Co. cheaply to level up the series by 1-1.
Meanwhile, the Indian team sets to make a few changes in the next game as T20 World Cup-winning members, with the likes of Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Shivam Dube joining the squad who will dominate proceedings in the upcoming game. It will be interesting to see who makes way for them.
While Zimbabwe stunned the defending T20 World Cup winners by 13 runs in the opening T20I, the Shubman Gill-led new-look young team thrashed them by 100 runs to level up the series on Sunday. The Men in Blue blasted the highest team total ever recorded in a T20I in Harare—a whopping 234 runs—and routed the hosts for 134.
