Preview
Zimbabwe will lock horns with Ireland in the 2nd match of The Ireland Tour of Zimbabwe at the Harare Sports Club in Harare on January 14. Zimbabwe were on a losing spree, having lost three games in a row before coming into this series. Ireland were not too different either, having won just one of their last five matches. In their previous clash, Zimbabwe emerged victorious after winning the toss and choosing to field. Ireland could muster only 114, and only three players could make a double-digit score. Each bowler of Zimbabwe was successful, barring Williams. Zimbabwe, in return, achieved the target with 12 balls to spare by a margin of five wickets. Williams was the highest scorer of the match, having scored 34 runs and returned not out back to the pavilion. Ryan Burl was adjudged Player of the Match owing to his three wickets at the expense of just 29 runs. Chatara, Ngarava, and Masakadza scalped two wickets each. For Ireland, Harry Tector and Mark Adair were able to scalp two wickets each too.
