Preview
The Zimbabwe cricket team is all set to host Pakistan in the first ODI of the three-match series slated to take place on November 24 at the Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo. The forthcoming three matches of the series present the first set of the ODI matches for the home team since their three-match series in Sri Lanka earlier this year.
Zimbabwe's side is making their return to 50-over games after the Sri Lanka series, which was played in January earlier this year. Back then, the side had lost the series to the Lanka Lions and also lost a home series to the Ireland side. However, Craig Ervine and his men need to fight against the Men in Green to seal the spot in the 2027 ODI World Cup.
On the flip side, the Green Army recently scripted history by winning an ODI series in Australia for the first time in over two decades. Overall, Mohammed Rizwan and his men will be touted as favorites to thwart at the latter's home turf in the forthcoming series.
