I would love to enter the octagon: Virat Kohli
India won the 4-match Test series against West Indies 2-0 after the 4th Test at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain washed off. However, both the teams will head to the USA for the Twenty20 International series starting on 27th August.
As soon as team India landed in the USA, former Welterweight Champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Georges St-Pierre was one of the firsts to welcome them, especially the star Indian batsman Virat Kohli. This is the third time full length International Cricket matches are scheduled to take place in the US, after Sri Lanka and New Zealand played matches here back in 2010.
The Canadian mixed martial artist asked Virat Kohli to show him how to run on the cricket pitch and offered in return to show Kohli how to run the octagon.
Georges took on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, where he wrote, “Welcome to America @imVkohli! Show me how you run the pitch and I’ll show you how to own the octagon #TeamIndiainUSA.”
