Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will meet each other on April 1, 2023, at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow in the sixteenth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL).
Lucknow Super Giants finished third in their maiden IPL season with nine wins and five losses in 14 games played. They lost against RCB in the eliminator and were knocked out of the race last year. They would look to continue the same momentum this time.
Delhi Capitals have been very consistent in the last four years and have qualified for the playoffs thrice in the last four seasons, except in the 2022 edition. Delhi Capitals will be missing the services of Rishabh Pant due to his injuries and hence David Warner is set to lead DC in the 2023 edition.
