Currently participating in the Super Smash tournament, Ronchi hit a magnificent six that reached a petrol pump across the street from the stadium. While the rest of the batting failed to get on course, they registered a total of 206/7. However, Ronchi’s knock ended up in a losing cause as Auckland went on to attain a victory on the last ball as the game went down to the wire for a thrilling finish.

Some excellent contributions from Mark Chapman 64 (24) and Sam Curran 50 (27) laid the foundation for Auckland’s splendid chase. In the end, Tarun Nethula who was absolutely amazing with the ball played a wonderful cameo in the end. With 3 needed off the last ball, he steered the ball away past the wicketkeeper for a boundary.
