RCB bowler Avesh Khan selected for coaching camp in Brisbane
The camp is a result of an MOU between MRF and ACA.
Royal Challengers Bangalore fast bowler, Avesh Khan, who made his IPL debut this year, is all set to catch the flight to Brisbane later this month in a 17-day coaching camp set up by Australian Cricket Academy situated in the capital of Queensland. 20-year old Avesh hails from Indore, Madhya Pradesh and it was the Secretary of Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association who made the announcement in a press release. The camp is scheduled to be hosted from July 28 to August 15.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore drafted in the services of Avesh earlier in the auctions held in February this month. RCB had a horrifying outing this season of the IPL but the right arm bowler managed to break into the playing XI on 14th May against Delhi Daredevils at Ferozshah Kotla. Khan managed to pick up a wicket as well in the match and conceded only 23 runs in his spell. Avesh came into the reckoning after he became India’s highest wicket-taker at the 2016 Under 19 World Cup in Bangladesh.
