Former Sri Lankan cricketer Mahela Jayawardene is having some wise words of advice for a Sri Lankan fan. The Lankan cricket lover has been a subject of trolls through out the Test series. He was seen taking a dig at India after the visitors posted 329/6 on the first day of the 3rd Test match. India were in a dominating position after both the openers Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul posted 188 runs for the first wicket but soon the momentum shifted. Sri Lanka fought back to restrict the visitors to 329/6.

Jayawardene wrote him on Twitter, “You are getting very funny! Careful people will not take you seriously”. He has been the butt of many jokes after Indians earlier trolled him back for criticizing the cricketers right and left. The fans are known to be very passionate about the game in Asia and this is an example of emotions boiling down to such words.

India lead the series 2-0

India have already won the Test series 2-0, and are currently looking to make it a whitewash against the home team. India will play an ODI series after this, followed by a one-off T20I. This was also their eighth successive Test win. The Indian selectors will announce the squad tonight (Sunday), and it has been reported earlier that captain Virat Kohli might well be rested for the series along with spin-duo of Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin.

But the skipper was in no mood to pay heed to the reports, as he clearly said that he is totally fine representing the country in the One-Dayers and he sees no point of not playing in the upcoming series.

Both the spinners have been active through out India’s Test season, as well as featured in most of the limited overs cricket. India will play the ODI series starting from August 20.
