Rajkumar Sharma, who is the childhood coach of Indian skipper Virat Kohli claimed that Anil Kumble’s absence will not affect the Indian team when they lock horns against the West Indies. According to the veteran, the team has players who have been in the circuit for long to help out the freshers.
Sharma said that Mahendra Singh Dhoni will take care of the youngsters in the squad, with his impressive qualities as a mentor. Skipper Kohli will also have a role to play and will provide a comfortable support to the former captain.
Speaking to the ANI, Sharma said “A coach is always missed to chalk out strategies, but this group has tremendous experience. In the past as well, we did not have a coach, rather a director was appointed to watch over the team. Now, we have some mature players and Dhoni is also there to help them, even Virat is also there,”
