'Mai mauka dekh ke halka bat maar leta hoon' - Yuzvendra Chahal comes out with hilarious revelation in Kapil Sharma show

Yuzvendra Chahal, the leg-spinner from India is known for his funny nature as he commits quite a few pranks with his teammates. Even, he shares a strong bond with Rohit Sharma and Indian skipper Virat Kohli. Recently, he went on a popular Indian comedy show hosted by famous comedian Kapil Sharma. The 29-year-old revealed some hilarious facts related to the dressing room.

The leg-spinner is currently with Team India that is involved in a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. So far, he has not managed to play his first game for the year 2020 as the leg-spinner was benched against the islanders. Chahal is one of the best spinners in the limited-over format for Virat Kohli and Co. But, a sudden dip in his form has ruled him out of the team. However, it is expected that he will soon mark his comeback on the back of some brilliant performances.

Chahal shared the couch with the veteran Indian spinner, Piyush Chawla in a popular comedy show. The host cum comedian Kapil Sharma hilariously questioned 29-year-old that why he doesn’t steal the bats of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli as it might help him to score some good runs in the match.

To which the right-arm spin head said that he certainly does that. Furthermore, he added that the bats are distributed in the team according to the batting talents of the players. Chahal always observes that which player gets the lightest out of them and he uses that bat in games. The players are also aware that Chahal will take the bat with him when his turn comes in batting.

“Yes this is true. When the bats are distributed amongst the players they are distributed according to their batting talents. I always observe who has got the lightest weight bat and I usually use their bat. Now even players are sure and prepared that I will take their bat. Mai mauka dekh ke halka bat maar leta hoon,” Yuzvendra Chahal said as quoted by The Times of India.

In the show, Chahal also recited about his struggling days when he used to travel for about seven to eight kilometres for practice sessions due to which he couldn’t manage to help his father in farming the field. But, after some time his father made a pitch in his farms that made it quite convenient for him to play and help his father.
