Virat Kohli is undoubtedly one of India’s greatest cricketers to have played the illustrious sport. The 29-year-old recently completed 6000 Tests in Test cricket in England. Moreover, he has notched 58 centuries in international cricket, second on the list of most tons by an Indian cricketer. In the ongoing series, he has notched 544 runs in four matches at an impressive average of 68.
The Indian team has flunked the Test series, but Kohli has been showered with accolades for his stupendous performances. He is married to Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma since December 2017 and their relationship has only flourished ever since. Recently, the heroine attended a promotional activity of her upcoming movie ‘Sui Dhaaga’, slated to be released on September 28.
Anushka all praises for Virat
She attended the same with co-star Varun Dhawan, a popular personality in the Indian film fraternity. During the event, Varun was asked about his admiration and love for cricket to which he said, “Yes, I am but I control myself… Anushka.. yaar aaj tohbaat kara do (please let me speak to Kohli).. I am never going to do that.”
Thereafter when Anushka was asked about whether she is married to the greatest batsman in the world in an exclusive interview with Film Companion, she promptly reverted and said, “I am married to the greatest man in the world.”
Recently, Varun and Anushka went to Jaipur for the promotion of their movie where they were greeted by a vociferous crowd. The throng present there chanted ‘Kohli Kohli’, which overwhelmed Anushka. Thereafter, replying to the people, she mentioned that even she misses her beloved one.
Both have been extremely supportive of each other and is one of the most talked about couples in the sporting and entertainment fraternity. In the meantime, Kohli would be hoping for his teammates to keep their chins up and put forth a resolute show at Kennington Oval to their English campaign on a high.
