'May you continue entertaining us forever' - Cricketing fraternity light up Twitter as Chris Gayle turns 42

The West Indies’ star batter Chris Gayle is renowned for his power-hitting abilities. He has dominated the T20 format being second to none and has chipped in 14261 runs in the shortest format. As Chris Gayle celebrates his 42^nd birthday on Tuesday, September 21, the cricketing fraternity and fans have come forward to wish him on his special day.

He is currently in the United Arab Emirates as a part of the Punjab Kings camp for the remainder of the IPL 2021. The Jamaican batter can disturb the sleeping patterns of any bowler owing to his attacking game style. Along with his on-field heroics, Gayle also lit up the off-field proceedings with his jovial and full-of-life attitude.

Gayle will be seen in action for the Punjab Kings when they will battle it out against Rajasthan Royals. Punjab Kings will be playing their first match of the UAE leg of the IPL. The team would pin in a lot of hopes on Gayle to deliver for them and fancy the team’s chances of making it to the playoffs.
