Mayanti Langer destroys trolls who tried to take a dig at Stuart Binny

Mayanti Langer is now perhaps used to the trolls that are being aimed at her for marrying all-rounder Stuart Binny.  Every time the ex-India all-rounder fails to deliver, some opportunists quickly try to have a laugh at his expense. To make matters worse, they also involve Mayanti in their derogatory trolling game. Well, on Tuesday, Binny came up with a fine performance for Rajasthan Royals against Kings XI Punjab.

The Royals eventually lost the game but Binny did manage to make his mark with some big hits towards the end of the chase. Put into bat first, Kings XI Punjab piled up 182 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs. KL Rahul scored a patient fifty to lay the foundation for the big total. In reply, the Royals were looking well out of content when Binny came out to bat in the 17th over. Things only became worse soon.

On the first delivery of the 18th over,  the Royals lost Jofra Archer to find themselves reeling at 133 for 5. With 50 runs needed from just 17 deliveries, it looked all over for the Royals. However, Binny brought them right back in the game by hitting a flurry of boundaries. In the 18th over, he hit Mohammed Shami for a four and a six. In the following over, he hit two more sixes to revive Royals’ hope. But with 23 runs needed from final over, the Royals could score only 10 to lose the game by 12 runs. Binny remained on 33 off just 11 balls with the help of 2 fours and three sixes.

Trolls at work

As soon as the game ended, some miscreants were at it again – taking a shot at Mayanti because of Binny. One of her followers sarcastically asked the IPL anchor about the whereabouts of her husband, writing:

But just like the previous times, Mayanti came out on top once again with a fitting reply.

Mayanti had a fitting reply for another troll too who took a dig at Binny not being in her display picture.
