Most recent fixture of RCB vs MI:
In IPL 2025, RCB broke a decade long jinx by beating MI at the Wankhede Stadium for the first time since 2015 in the last match when these two sides met. Despite losing Phil Salt second ball, RCB kept up the attack up with Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal leading the charge. Rajat Patidar then took charge of proceedings in the middle overs despite starting slow. Jitesh Sharma then gave RCB a final flourish that took them to 221. MI's chase was in jeopardy following a restrictive spell from Josh Hazlewood in the powerplay. Suyash Sharma was relatively restrictive too and MI ended up needing over 120 runs from the last eight overs. Tilak Varma and Hardik Pandya took the challenge head on and it looked like they might actually do it. But, RCB removed them both at crucial junctures that let Krunal Pandya close out the win with a three-wicket final over.
