The coronavirus pandemic has restricted the movement of all people across the globe. In this current situation, no cricket has been played at any level. Cricketers and experts are staying at home without anything to do. However, some cricketers are using this time to interact with fans on social media.

Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is a popular celebrity on social media and he is one of the Indian team members posting pictures and video on it regularly. Recently, he uploaded a video which garnered some attention as he engaged in a friendly banter with England’s former cricketer Michael Vaughan.

Vaughan gives friendly advice to Jadeja, the all-rounder responds

Ravindra Jadeja uploaded a video on Instagram and Twitter where he was seen wielding his sword in his hometown of Jamnagar. The caption of the post was, “A “SWORD” MAY LOOSE IT’S SHINE, BUT WOULD NEVER DISOBEY IT’S MASTER. #rajputboy”. In the video, the Indian all-rounder can be seen swinging a sword just in the way he swings his bat after reaching a milestone.

Jadeja has been quite famous for his sword-swinging like celebration in international cricket. Every time he reaches a 50 or 100, he brings out the bat-wielding celebration. After watching this video, the former England captain Micheal Vaughan commented, “Your grass needs a mow Rockstar.” Rockstar was a nickname which was given to Jadeja by Shane Warne during the first season of IPL. Jadeja was a part of the Rajasthan Royals set up which went on to win the first edition of IPL in 2008.

After seeing what Vaughan commented, Jadeja also didn’t back away from giving a reply. He wrote, “Yes but I don’t know how to cut it. #coronaeffect”. Probably, what Jadeja was suggesting is the fact that his gardener is off on leave due to the coronavirus spreading and he himself can’t do it.

Another video surfaced on social media related to Jadeja’s famous sword celebration recently. The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner shared a throwback video on Instagram a few days back. In that video, he was seen wielding his bat like a sword just like Jadeja does.
