The South African legend was one of the four overseas players to take the field for RCB. He has captained the Proteas in all three formats of cricket. He was part of Mumbai Indians in the inaugural season of IPL and he even captained the teams in a few games. That was his first and last IPL season as that was the last year of his cricket career.

He batted at number seven and scored 28 runs off 12 balls. He played 108 Tests and 303 ODIs for South Africa. He retired from all forms of the game in January 2008. In November 2021, he was included in the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame. He is widely regarded as one of the best fast bowlers and all-rounders of all time. He now works as a commentator for various sports channels covering cricket.
