Sri Lanka cricket team looked like a giant killer who came out of their home to sweep off their first T20I series win against Pakistan on their soil. When the visitors won the first T20I against the hosts it looked like a fluke but after that, they went onto prove that it was sheer hard work that led them to win the next two games consecutively.

This performance of the visitors has rocked the cricketing fans of Pakistan who are now going mad over the national squad. The cricket pundits are lambasting over the team management and their vulnerable selection of the team, but the former cricketer Shoaib Akhtar is coming down with a bit of important advice for his fellow teammate and the newly appointed coach of Pakistan.

Shoaib Akhtar has a piece of advice for Misbah-ul-Haq

The former speedster is very disheartened by the poor display of performance that is shown by their players in the T20I series and feels that this streak of successive failure needs to be broken and the team should go through a reformation that can help in building the future of this sport towards the right direction in the country.

Shoaib took to Twitter and wrote an emotional message for Misbah-ul-Haq. “It is so disheartening to see Pakistan lose like this. If I were Misbah, I would pick up the pieces from here and rebuild them. Have to make a combination of new and experienced. A combination that works,” the speedster tweeted. “I hope we do a solid rebuilding from here.”

Here is the tweet:

This tweet from the former pacer came after Sri Lanka outclassed Pakistan in the third T20I of the series. Earlier, the skipper of Pakistan Sarfaraz Ahmed had accepted that their team needs to take chances and needs to improve in all aspects of the game and if they will drop catches then it is impossible to outclass any team on World-class level. “We need to improve in all facets. If we keep dropping catches like this in the middle overs, we won’t be able to beat any team,” Sarfaraz said as quoted by Brecorder.

This is the third consecutive series defeat of Pakistan in T20I as their last series win came against New Zealand around October in 2018.
