The former Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir is all set to return to the Abu Dhabi T10 League. He had earlier withdrawn his name from the fifth edition of the tournament. The speedster had taken this decision after having been affected by Covid-19 and was looking to recover as early as possible.
However now, he is all ready to take part in this season of the high-profile tournament. He is reported to have fully recovered from Covid-19 and has rejoined his team Bangla Tigers. The pacer also took part in his first training session yesterday and is expected to take the charge of the field for the team in the last five matches.
Mohammad Amir’s training session:
The Bangla Tigers took it to their Twitter account to provide an update on the fast bowler. They shared a picture of Amir getting involved in his first practice session. They also added a fitting caption to the post. The caption read, “Mohammad Amir’s first training session. 🐯💥 @iamamirofficial #BanglaTigers #AbuDhabiT10 #LetsGoHunt.”

Post featuring in the fifth season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, Mohammad Amir will travel to Sri Lanka. He will be playing for the Galle Gladiators in the second edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL). The speedster has a plethora of experience under his sleeves and is expected to make a larger impact whilst playing T20 cricket for the franchises.
About his T10 franchise Bangla Tigers, the team initially had a dismaying outing in the league. They lost both their fixtures and were desperately in search of a win to make their mark in the league. The Faf Du Plessis-led side finally got to the winning ways against Northern Warriors.
Chasing down the total of 127, Will Jacks top-scored for the team and fashioned the team’s victory. He hit a belligerent half-century in order to take the team past the total. The team is scheduled to face the Chennai Braves next and will be raring to take their winning momentum further.
The team’s star batter Faf Du Plessis hasn’t looked at his absolute best in the season so far. His contributions will be important for the side. The team will thus be pinning their hopes on the Proteas batter to pile up big runs.
