Mohammad Kaif mistaken for wanted sharp shooter on Twitter
Having a namesake sometimes can bring you unnecessary attention from the people, especially if you share similar names with an alleged sharpshooter.
Cricket Mohammad Kaif recently became a subject of a hilarious misunderstanding after a random user on Twitter tagged the former cricketer in a post which referred him as the wanted shooter whose name also unfortunately happened to be Mohammad Kaif.
The news link also showed one guy holding a protest card which translates to “justice for cricketer Mohammad Kaif.”
Going by the message which was written by the user, it seemed that he clearly mistook both the individuals very foolishly. Kaif clearly wasn’t amused by this behavior and quickly made sure that further confusion is not spread via this tweet.

The 35-year-old cricketer Uttar Pradesh cricketer, who is currently preparing for the upcoming domestic season, quickly made a tweet clarifying that the man around whom all the controversy is surrounded is just his namesake and not him.
He tweeted,” I am not the shooter u r referring to.I m training fr the Cricket season ahead wid #Chattisgarh Verify to karlo yaar”
The other Mohammad Kaif (alleged murderer) has been in the news recently after getting spotted with RJD MLA from Siwan Mohammad Shahabuddin. The man is alleged to have involved in the murder of journalist Rajdev Rajan and has been tagged wanted by the authorities.
Kaif was caught in a video standing with the tainted RJD leader after he was released from prison on bail. In the video clip, Kaif can be seen standing right next to Shahabuddin and cheering him as he spoke to media after being released on Saturday.
