Former Indian International Mohammad Kaif has recently criticised the Pakistan Cricket Team for their indifferent fielding performance against the Indians in a major ICC multilateral event. Mohammad Kaif took to Twitter to express his thoughts regarding Pakistan’s fielding in the ongoing clash with India at the Champions Trophy.
In an encounter frequently interrupted by rain, Indians have already put on a dominating score of 173 by losing the only wicket of Shikhar Dhawan. Indian openers laid a solid platform for the likes of Kohli, Yuvraj, MS Dhoni, and Hardik Pandya. They put on a vital partnership 0f 136 runs in 148 runs.
However, the Indian opening duo was assisted by some ordinary fielding as the Pakistani’s turned out to be sloppy in the field. The fielding of the side has been a major concern for the supporters during key clashes against their arch rivals.
Going back to the World Cup of 2011, India met Pakistan in a high-pressure semi-final at Mohali. Sachin Tendulkar went on to score a match-winning 85 off 115 balls. Sachin was dropped on four occasions in his knock and India went on to progress to the finals of the World Cup.
Kaif trolls Pakistani fielders
Mohammad Kaif, who himself was responsible for creating a revolution in the fielding regime of the Indians, came out all guns blazing against the Pakistanis for their dismal performance in the field. Kaif expressed his thought by tweeting, “Somethings never change. Pakistan and their fielding woes. ”

Pakistan has had the better off Indians when it comes to ICC Champions Trophy. Out of the 3 matches in the tournament, Pakistan has won two encounters. India won the last time they played Pakistan in the tournament. That said, it is a well-renowned fact about Pakistan’s dry spell against Indians at the World Cup. Indians have managed to win every World Cup encounter since 1992. Overall, Indians have won 12 matches against Pakistan.
