Mohammed Shami donates tricycles to differently-abled people
He took to micro blogging site Twitter to share pictures of his visit to the village.
Veteran Indian pace bowler Mohammed Shami has faced a lot of ups and downs in the last few months. His personal life has been in an utter turmoil. The impact of the adversities was also shadowed on his on-field performances. Despite the negative vibes being around him for quite a long time now, the pacer has not let his spirits go down one bit. He has continued his hard work and is now set to take the field for the Indian team again after a long break.
Before Mohammed Shami takes the field for the Indian team again, he decided to do some goodwill in his village. Shami, who hails from Amroha in Uttar Pradesh, recently donated tricycles to the differently-abled people of his village.
He took to micro blogging site Twitter to share pictures of his visit to the village. In the pictures, the differently-abled people are seen all smiles with Shami donating them tricycles. The pace bowler also added a caption to his social media update. He noted that charity was initiated by his forefathers. He is happy to take the tradition forward and continue doing the same.
Here is the post that Mohammed Shami posted:
“Continuing the decades old tradition of – #Charity with #Humbleness & #Humility’ as #initiated by my forefathers. #love for #society #myvillage,” Mohammed Shami wrote in his tweet.
Shami will be hoping to make a good return to the national side soon. He has been in the news in the recent times following the allegations of extra-marital affairs imposed by his wife, Hasin Jahan. She shared various screen captures of the conversations Shami had with other ladies. She accused Shami of cheating. The impact was quite severe on the cricketing career of Shami as he was on the verge of losing out on the central contract as well. While Shami wanted to negotiate in the matter, Hasin Jahan decided to move on. She is reportedly in line to make her Bollywood debut soon.
