Mohammed Shami is the most under-rated bowler in the world' - Usman Khawaja feels India has the best bowling lineup in the world

Australian cricketer Usman Khawaja is hugely impressed with the current crop of Indian pacers. The Aussie batsman feels that the Indian bowling lineup is the best in the world right now. Khawaja even added that the Indian bowling lineup is unbelievable.

Adding that Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in the business today, the 34-year-old Khawaja stated that Bumrah’s awkward action, his bouncer, and slower ball make him a Genius. The Aussie was also effusive in praise of Ishant Sharma.

Stating that Sharma is a skillful bowler, Khawaja reckoned that Sharma’s experience is invaluable. Khawaja added that Mohammed Shami is the most underrated bowler in the world, and is much quicker than what people think. Khawaja was also extremely impressed with the wonderful seam position that Shami offers as well.

“In my opinion the Indian bowling lineup right now is the best bowling lineup in the world, yes there are awesome bowlers all around the world, but that lineup is unbelievable. Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best bowlers in the world right now, awkward action, great bouncer, great skills, slow ball, he is a genius and jet and bowling like one right now. Ishant Sharma, he’s a skillful bowler, he also bowls a really good length, he’s been there for such a long time that experience is invaluable in these conditions.

Third, I think is the most underrated bowler in the world, in my opinion, Mohammed Shami, he’s actually a lot quicker than you think, I think that’s one of his skill sets and he always has that seam in a beautiful position but no one really talks about him genuine thing he is such a big part of that bowling lineup and people forget about him,” said Khawaja on his YouTube channel.

Usman Khawaja further added that Mohammed Siraj is a skillful bowler, and stated that he faced up to Siraj three years ago. Adding that Siraj bowled an unbelievable spell back then, Khawaja concluded by stating that he already knew that Siraj was going to become a good Test bowler.

“Lastly, Siraj, he was coping a bit of stick throughout the summer you can tell he’s getting wickets he’s walking by. he is a very skillful bowler too faced him in the A series maybe three years ago in India, he bought an unbelievable spell and when I saw him that I knew he was going to be a very good Test bowler,” concluded Khawaja.
