Although Team India didn’t enjoy a fruitful outing in the ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand, Mohammed Shami put up an exhibition of fast bowling and took four wickets. The veteran pacer is now gearing up for India’s upcoming five-match Test series against hosts England and needless to say, expectations are high from him.

While Shami is known to make the red ball talk, her daughter Aaira is a pro when it comes to dancing. On Saturday (July 3), the star fast bowler took to Instagram and shared an adorable video of her daughter dancing to the popular song ‘Ek Baar Parda Hata De Sharabi.’ The little one can be seen flaunting some impressive moves and subsequently, the comment section got flooded with praises.

Mohammad Kaif impressed with Aaira’s dance moves

Impressed with the skills of Shami’s daughter, former Indian batsman Mohammad Kaif also showered love on the post, commenting, “Superb Bebo.” Notably, Shami’s estranged wife Hasin Jahan has been living separately with Aaira due to their marital dispute. Owing to national duties, Shami is also away from his daughter. However, it seems like he has been keeping a tab on his little girl’s activities.

Meanwhile, India’s upcoming Test series against England will mark the start of the next World Test Championship cycle. Hence, both teams must leave no stones unturned to emerge victorious. Shami will certainly hold the key for the visitors as he unarguably looked India’s best bowler in the summit clash against New Zealand. He swung the ball both ways and that too with a brisk pace.

Not to forget, Shami was also part of the Indian squad during the 2018 Test series in England and is well versed with the conditions. However, the pacer’s job will not be easy with talismans like Joe Root, Ben Stokes, and Jos Buttler being in the English camp. So, it would be interesting to see how this series unfolds.

Meanwhile, Team India players, after the WTC final, have been allowed to leave the bio-secure for a while to relax. They’ll reunite for two warm-up games ahead of the England series to get in the groove. The first Test is scheduled to get underway on August 4 at the Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
