Mohammed Shami has a special message for his daughter on her birthday

India is not known to be a fast bowling country. It has a history of producing excellent batsmen and quality spinners. Barring a few, the fast bowlers have not made a major impact in the history of Indian cricket. But this trending is changing now and several young guns are being monitored who are potential prospects to represent India in the near future.

Mohammed Shami is one of the very few fast bowlers who has done well for India. He has shown decent control with the red cherry and has already picked up 110 wickets in whites. He has also provided the captain with early breakthroughs that is vital for any fielding side. However, Shami’s life changed completely after the personal issues with his wife came into limelight. This issue has parted him with his daughter Aaira who is celebrating her third birthday.

Shami took to twitter to express his love for Aaira and shared a picture of her on the special occasion. He tweeted:”How fast you grow dear, I know one day you will be big enough to change the world and make it a better place. I love you and I hope you get to enjoy your 3rd birthday.Miss you so much.”

Injury marred career

The pacer has battled with several injuries throughout his career. However, he is fit and has also passed the Yo-Yo test. Earlier, the speedster had failed the test before India’s clash with Afghanistan. Navdeep Saini was named Shami’s replacement in the Indian team. Shami will be available for the test series against England which is set to begin in August.

The men in blue are currently playing the last match of the limited overs leg and need a win to bag another series in their kitty.
