Mohammed Shami's wife determined to take him to court

Mohammed Shami’s troubles seem to have just started. His wife Hasin Jahan had made surprising revelations alleging that her husband had extra-marital affairs and accused the in-laws of torcher physical as well as mental. The Indian cricketer has expressly denied these claims stating that it is a part of a conspiracy and is an attempt to ruin his career.

The couple who has a three-year-old daughter with Shami has been married since 2014. Hasin posted several screenshots of chats from WhatsApp and Facebook messenger on her personal Facebook profile claiming that they were from her husbands’ phone which backed her claims of adultery.

Physical and mental abuse

She added serious accusations claiming that the abuse started soon after her marriage. “Soon after my marriage, I was abused physically and mentally,” Hasin said while talking to the reporters.

She said that in a bid to make the marriage work she did everything in her power but the abuse got over the line and only then she decided to come out in public.

“I’ve done everything he wanted me to do. I left my modeling career, job and also did not step out of the house,” Hasin said.

Adding details to the story Mrs Shami claimed that the Indian pacer was planning on abandoning her after returning home from the South Africa tour.

“He was planning to abandon me after his South Africa tour by taking away the property and insurance papers. I have been tolerating all this for the past five years. He has been asking for divorce for two years,” she said.

Hasin Jahan made it clear that she will soon take the matter to court and let the judiciary decide.

“I’m not going to divorce him till my last breath. I’ve all evidences against him and will soon drag him to court,” she said.

Shami claims innocence

He tweeted this morning to clear his stance and wrote – “Hi I’m Mohammad Shami. Ye jitna bhi news hamara personal life ke bare may chal raha hai, ye sab sarasar jhut hai, ye koi bahut bada humare khilap sajish hai or ye mujhe Badnam karne or mera game kharab karne ka kosis ki ja rahi hai.”
