Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan today went to the pacer’s local town in Uttar Pradesh’s Amroha region as reported by the Police. Hasin approached Didauli police headquarters Inspector Ram Singh Katheria requesting for security in order to visit Sahas, a town in UP. Jahan was joined by her two-year-old girl and attorney Zakir Hussain according to the Police.

Earlier, Shami’s wife complained of domestic violence and registered a case against the Indian cricketer. In the month of March, the Kolkata Police had booked Team India pacer Shami and four others under various non-bailable and bailable sections on the basis of Jahan’s complaint.

Most recently, Jahan filed a case against Shami demanding a sum of ten lakh rupees per month for maintenance of her daughter and herself. As part of the investigation, Police already went to Shami’s village and questioned some of his relatives and neighbours.

Jahan wanted to break into Shami’s house

Hasin Jahan who visited the pacer’s native village wanted to break into his house. With nobody present in the house, she demanded that lock of Shami’s house be broken. However, the Police denied her demand and did not let it happen as no family member of the Indian cricketer was present there. “We denied to break the lock as Shami’s family members were not there,” a Police personnel told as quoted by Tribune India.

According to reports, the pacer’s uncle, Mohammed Zameer who lives in the same locality told that Hasin visited without prior information. Also, Zameer offered her to stay at her place. “She can stay at our house as Shami’s family members are not here and their house was locked,” he added.

However, Hasin Jahan did not speak on this issue. When asked, she told that she’ll speak on the issue later. BCCI on March 22 cleared Shami’s central contract after its Anti-Corruption Unit (ACU) absolved him of defilement allegations levelled by his better half Jahan.
