Mohammed Siraj thanks Virat Kohli for giving the best gift of his life
Virat Kohli and RCB teammates had visited Siraj's house for dinner last week.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are currently struggling to stay alive in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) as they have only won 3 out of 10 matches. But the team as a unit seems to have special camaraderie for each other as they are enjoying their time together off the field. Recently, Virat Kohli and few other RCB players including Parthiv Patel and Washington Sundar visited Mohammed Siraj’s house for a dinner on the latter’s request. However, Siraj was delighted to host them and has thanked Virat Kohli for the same.
The Men in Red were in the city of Nawabs to lock horns against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) earlier this week which is also the hometown of Siraj. The youngster invited Kohli and his teammates for a dinner at his home which is Tolichowki which they gleefully accepted. They were treated to some authentic Hyderabadi biryani along with patthar ka gosht, korma, khoobani ka mertha and double ka meetha in the dinner as Siraj was over the moon to host his mates an especially Kohli.
Siraj’s message
Mohammed Siraj was delighted after Virat Kohli visited his home for the dinner after he requested and posted a thank you message for his skipper on Instagram. He shared the image of him hugging Kohli with his fans and captioned it as, “Thank you VK Bhaiyya @virat.kohli, The BEST-EST gift I have ever received in my life.” The cricketers also clicked the pictures with his family which were soon viral on social media.
As far as Siraj’s performance is considered, he has impressed his skipper a lot with his death overs bowling. He has featured for RCB in 7 matches this season and has scalped the same number of wickets while conceding 8.77 runs per over. Moreover, he has been bowling at a sheer pace which has grabbed the eyeballs of many and is definitely a bright prospect for India in the near future.
