World Cup 2023: Most Ducks in ODI World Cup History

Astle has represented his team in 3 editions - 1996, 1999, and 2003 and got out on a duck 5 times. Former Pakistan batter Ijaz Ahmed who plays in the no. 3 position for the most time in his career also dismissed 5 times on a duck.

Former Irish allrounder William MacCallen holds the most embarrassing record when it comes to getting out on a duck in World Cup. He was featured in only one World Cup in his career which was the 2007 edition and got out 4time on a duck. He played 9 matches in the tournament and scored only 33 runs. Another former legendary cricketer AB de Villiers, who also led South Africa in the 2015 edition, also got dismissed 4 times on a duck in ODI World Cup history.
