Ashraf has been backed by Pakistan as an all-rounder. They have been providing him chances across formats. It’s safe to say that they have set their eyes on him as their No. 1 pace all-rounder.

While his run in Test cricket has been pretty decent, his form in limited-overs cricket has been questionable, especially in ODIs. He has an average of 12 as a batsman and 41 as a bowler.

In T20Is, he has an average of 11 in 29 innings with a strike rate of 128. Faheem Ashraf had a strong showing in PSL last season. It’s still surprising that he gets consistent chances in ODIs and T20Is when Pakistan can clearly afford someone else ahead of him.
