When Pakistan won the 2017 Champions Trophy it seemed that the Men in Green will get back to their glory days under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed. Thereafter he also took the team to the No.1 position in T20I rankings. Then suddenly the team lost its mojo and coincidentally Sarfaraz also experienced a slump in his batting form.

From there onwards, the former Pakistan skipper has not enjoyed his time on the field and as well as off the field. Particularly he has been the butt of jokes for the troll army. Right from his decision-making skills to his fitness regime he has faced all the heat in a short period of time.

Then in the 2019 World Cup, the matters quickly escalated out of hands with him yawning in the team’s encounter against arch-rivals, India. His reaction became so popular that memes started doing the rounds. Before that also Sarfaraz was grilled in social media for his patchy English oration skills in press conferences. Even now after getting sacked from the captaincy post he became the victim of trolling.
