5. Shakib Al Hasan – 92
Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is the leading wicket-taker for his side in the 20-over format. He has taken 92 wickets in 76 matches at an average of 20.58 and a strike rate of 18.1. He has an impressive average of 6.81 in T20Is and has one fifer in the format. He registered his best bowling figures of 5/20 against the West Indies in 2018.
4. Rashid Khan – 95
Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan is regarded as the best spinner in T20 cricket currently. He has picked up 95 wickets in only 51 T20Is played with an excellent average of 12.63 and a strike rate of 12.1. He has two fifers and three 4-wicket hauls in the format so far. Rashid registered his best bowling figures of 5/3 against Ireland in 2017.
3. Shahid Afridi – 98
Pakistan All-rounder Shahid Afridi is still the highest wicket-taker for his country in T20Is. He has 98 scalps to his name in 99 games at an average of 24.44 and a strike rate of 22.1. He has picked up three 4-wicket hauls in the format with best innings figures of 4/11.
2. Tim Southee – 99
New Zealand pacer Tim Southee has taken 99 wickets in 83 matches so far, which makes him the second-highest wicket-taker in the T20I format. He has bowled at an average of 25.17 and a strike rate of 18. Though he has been expensive with an economy of 8.39, he has regularly taken wickets.

Sri Lankan pacer Lasith Malinga is the leading wicket-taker in the T20 Internationals history. He has taken 107 wickets in 84 matches at an average of 20.79 and a strike rate of 16.8. Malinga has two fifers and one 4-wicket haul. He is the only bowler to pick two hat-tricks in T20Is.
