MS Dhoni and other CSK members board flight for India after their IPL 2020 campaign ends

Chennai Super Kings players who are not part of the Australia tour left for India after getting eliminated from the ongoing season of Indian Premier League in UAE. CSK won their final three matches in the season, but their campaign ended after their last match with Kings XI Punjab. They defeated KXIP with nine wickets in their last fixture, and in that manner, KL Rahul and company also crashed out of the tournament.

CSK had a terrible season this year as they ended up losing the playoffs spot for the first time in the history of IPL. Their form, squad planning, and many decisions came under a lot of questions. Even the form of skipper MS Dhoni was criticized a lot as he was unable to deliver with the bat on numerous occasions. Though they have ended on a dismal note, skipper MSD has promised to do better in the next season.

While returning to India, Chennai leg-spinner Karn Sharma clicked a selfie inside the flight with skipper MS Dhoni and medium-pacer Monu Kumar on social media. The same picture is going viral on Twitter on social media.

“We go back to the same team which Mr. Srinivasan and CSK picked and how right they got it. We’re looking to do the same if we can get a decade of consistent cricket from aside, you’re doing something right,” Fleming stated.

“A lot depends on what BCCI decides about the auction. We need to slightly change our core group and look for the next ten years. At the start of the IPL, we made a team that served us well for ten years. It’s time to hand it over to the next generation,” stated MS Dhoni in the post-match presentation of his last match against KXIP.

MS Dhoni to return next year for CSK

The best thing that could have happened for the CSK fans or MS Dhoni fans was the news that their beloved skipper will be donning the yellow jersey in the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League. They will return next year with better preparations and a slight change in their core group.
