MS Dhoni and Shoaib Malik reunite with their families on Sakshi Dhoni's birthday in Dubai
Sakshi celebrated her birthday on a vacation with her family on Thursday.
MS Dhoni was recently involved in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) featuring for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). After playing non-stop cricket for almost two months, he is now on a vacation with his family in Dubai. Having retired from international cricket on August 15, Dhoni is now spending most of his time with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva.
His ongoing vacation also coincided with Sakshi’s birthday on November 19. The family celebrated it to the fullest and they did it with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik, his wife Sania Mirza and her sister. Despite the fierce rivalry between India and Pakistan on the field, the cricketers are often seen mingling with each other after the match and off the field. And Dhoni and Malik are very good friends as well.
Sania Mirza posted a picture with the birthday girl and the Dhoni family in her Instagram story. They seemed to have celebrated Sakshi’s birthday together and the picture has gone viral now on social media. Sakshi also posted a picture with MS Dhoni on the occasion of her birthday and the couple is looking adorable together.

Free time for MS Dhoni and Shoaib Malik
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, cricket schedule got disturbed this year and a lot of cricket is set to be played now. But MS Dhoni is unlikely to play any domestic cricket now and will only feature in the IPL it seems. Moreover, he also confirmed in the final match of the season for CSK that he will return to play the next season at least.
Meanwhile, Shoaib Malik is also enjoying a break after not being picked in Pakistan’s T20I team for the upcoming New Zealand tour. With the head coach Misbah-ul-Haq stating that they are looking to blood in youngsters in the shortest format and Malik was dropped alongside Mohammad Amir.
Malik has already retired from ODIs and Tests and is only playing the T20 format of the game and might hang up his boots after the World Cup to be played next year.
