The former legendary skipper MS Dhoni is known for his love of animals and fans always get to have a sight of his new friends from his Ranchi farmhouse. The extraordinary cricketer stepped down from international cricket in August 2020 and since then has been spending quality time with his family. Dhoni is also known for exhibiting prime fitness levels while he remains on or off-field and he gave a glimpse of it again.
This time around, the former great was seen doing a race with Shetland pony, a Scottish breed of horse, at his farmhouse in Ranchi. In the initial phase, the Dhoni seems to have an upper hand but as soon as the pony gathered the pace, the skipper could be seen lagging behind. The interesting video of the same event was shared by his wife Sakshi Dhoni.

It is a known fact that CSK skipper was known as one of the fastest cricketers between the wickets. Despite his age factor, he used to run past several youngsters while displaying his heroics. As he is not much of social media person, the video reached all his fans through his wife’s IG handle. In no time, the post started gathering a lot of praises and even Suresh Raina reacted with a fire emoji.

The former great also has a black stallion in his possession, the picture of the same was also shared by Sakshi earlier. He also possesses a Belgian Malinois, a white husky, and a German Shepherd. In fact, apart from him, only Ravindra Jadeja is the other CSK cricketer who loves having horses as pet.
Talking of MSD on the professional front, he was last seen in action while leading his franchise CSK in the first phase of IPL 2021. The team was doing well as they won five out of their seven league games in the interrupted phase and will be looking up do the same in the UAE phase.
