MS Dhoni gets mobbed by sea of fans during his Madhya Pradesh visit

Since India’s heartbreaking exit after losing to New Zealand in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, former India captain MS Dhoni has been out of action from the 22-yard pitch. It’s obvious that the veteran finisher is on the verge of culminating his International career, but it’s not known to anybody what will be his next step– Will he come back to play International cricket? Or has he silently left it like he did when he retired from Test cricket during India’s tour of Australia, way back in 2014?

Since the World Cup, Dhoni has remained silent over his future in international cricket. The veteran is currently enjoying with his family as he is on his undefined break from cricket. Meanwhile, he remains active for his fans on social media platforms through plenty of unseen videos, which are mostly shared by then by his wife Sakshi Dhoni.

Till date, plenty of videos have surfaced on the internet where his wife, Sakshi was seen teasing him with nicknames like ‘Sweetie’. Dhoni is currently on a tour to Madhya Pradesh, holidaying with his closed ones.

Recently, another video involving the 38-year-old has gone viral. In the clip, it can be seen that Dhoni is on his way touring Madhya Pradesh in a jeep and his fans are surrounding him in huge numbers. No matter which part of the world Dhoni travels to, he will undoubtedly have plenty of followers who will want to take a glance at him. And the Ranchi-born player’s enormous popularity is quite evident from the video.

Having served India for 15 long years, this legendary finisher is adored by the majority of cricket fans. Dhoni’s contributions to Indian cricket are immense, be it the two World cup trophies he has brought to the country or his understanding of the game– the way he leads the hurdle going into the match has always been a special sight for his fans.

In Dhoni’s absence from the game, India have tried a number of options for the wicketkeeper’s role and KL Rahul has proved his worth after the incompetency of Rishabh Pant to fill MS Dhoni’s shoes. It will be riveting to see how the former Indian skipper fares in the upcoming IPL 2020 while donning the Chennai Super Kings jersey.
