The former Indian captain MS Dhoni left the cricket fans in shock and utter disbelief after quitting the international format of game on August 15, 2020. His glorious that had all the ICC trophies in his bag came to cease when India’s beloved skipper took to his Instagram to inform world about his retirement. However, to fans’ happiness, he is still up with yellow franchise Chennai Super Kings in IPL.
The Ranchi Stalwart is one of the most renowned cricketers in the world and the fans are always eager to know about his personal life. Though the cricketer enjoys a massive fan following on social media, he rarely posts about his personal activities and daily life.
However, on Christmas, Dhoni fans were in for a surprise as they were treated with a cute picture of MS along with his daughter Ziva Dhoni. In the viral picture, Dhoni can be seen with Ziva and some of his friends posing with a Christmas tree.

MS Dhoni to not feature in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy
Dhoni was last seen in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) leading his franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK). However, both MS and the Super Kings had a forgettable season as CSK failed to qualify for the playoffs for the first time in their 10-year history in the league. Dhoni, on the other hand, could collect just 200 runs in 14 games at an average of 25, with an unbeaten 47 being his highest score.
After IPL 2020, it was speculated that Dhoni will feature in the 2021 edition of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, which will be hosted in January by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). However, the former captain has decided against coming out of his retirement to play in the high profile domestic league.
However, this can be a cause of worry for Chennai as Dhoni will now be directly playing in IPL 2021, which will take place in the month of April and May in India. Being out of action for a long period of time can affect the physical health of the player, who is 39-year-old.
